讲述了一位充满野心的女子Lena郑（金成玲饰），与之前自己所抛弃的女儿姜伊瑟（李晟京饰）重逢，而展开的一连串故事。。樱桃（柳贤静 饰）与男朋友分手那一天，她家中了彩票大奖。此后的5年，樱桃自己做房东，把另外3个朋友叫来一起住。樱桃是个自由作家，整天宅在家里写作，5年来一次恋爱也没有谈过。不仅是她，房子里的其他女生都没有谈恋爱。不管是事业有成的李允真（姜姬花 饰），还是高中老师严娜恩（韩颂熙 饰），就连漂亮的文素英（河诗恩 饰）也是单身。 娜恩的学校里来了一名新外教，高大帅气的他正是娜恩的理想型；素英身边从来不缺男人，站在路边也有男人搭讪；允真也似乎遇到了命定的男人；只有樱桃的单身生活一团糟，写作屡屡失败，出书遥遥无期。更重要的是，她总是一个人。樱桃感到不安和焦躁，她反省自己，自己谈不成恋爱的理由，究竟是什么？在这个问题上，身边人比她更着急，“樱桃呀，恋爱吧！”。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
