While struggling to...。林安琪（易佳憓饰），钟宝贝（马䲰娗饰），汪云林（黄慧燕饰）是认识很久的死党。三人因在中学时无法实现英式女篮区域赛冠军的梦想，只好相约在大学时一起重新追梦。没想到事与愿违，云林居然考不进约定的大学，反而上了敌对大学，与安琪和宝贝成了竞争对手。。马修．罗宾斯执导的本片是一部具有喜剧味道的群戏，主角是住在一幢濒临拆除的老房子的五位房客，有年老也有年轻，有男也有女，有白人也有黑人，仿佛是大社会的缩影。这群个性不同的房客，被一位从事不动产开发生意的商人用尽办法逼迫他们搬走。基于相同的生存需要，他们团结起来抵抗外辱。而促使他们继续坚持下去的动力，是一群突然闯入他们生活的小小宇宙飞船。。
