本片讲述了留学归来的李婷回到有着瓷都之称的德化县，因为一次意外偶遇陶艺老师唐杰。两人为了共同的陶瓷艺术使命而惺惺相惜，共同推动德化陶瓷文化，也成就了一段美好姻缘……。H是一位逃跑一年多的印尼籍外勞，喜歡流浪的他在僱主的農地附近搭了一座工寮，同時收留著一位從金屬加工廠跑出來，後來又在茶園差點被員警抓到的朋友R，R暫時都住在工寮不敢出門。今晚H接到了朋友T的電話，從水果工廠跑出來的她要帶著從汽車零件廠跑出來的B一起過來。也是這一晚，從僱主家跑出來的幫傭E，還有從螺絲工廠跑出來的D陸續到訪，原來H的工寮已經傳開了⋯。。Alone on Halloween| a young woman finds a mysterious VHS tape on her doorstep-a tape that shows a series of gruesome and ghastly tales that appear to be all too real.
