《七十二家房客》是上海人民滑稽剧团的看家之作。1958年，杨华生、笑嘻嘻、张樵侬、沈一乐四位老滑稽艺术家以解放前上海底层市民的艰苦生活为素材，写就了轰动一时的《七十二家房客》，从此，“七十二家房客”成了住房狭小的代名词。1978年，王汝刚等当时年轻一代的演员加盟，让《七十二家房客》的现场演出可谓一票难求，也曾进京演出。“三六九”、“炳根”、“二房东”、“小皮匠”这些经典人物，对老一辈上海人可以说是家喻户晓。 2017年新春佳节推出的沪语贺岁剧《七十二家房客》，将原本的舞台作品扩展成8集、每集45分钟的电视剧，在不游离原舞台剧的前提下，将舞台剧里蜻蜓点水的支脉挖掘出来有的扩展，有的延伸，改编并增加了不少人物。所以这次不是简单的翻拍，而是重塑经典。。This World tells the inside story of the 2011 massacre in Norway, offering new insights into the life and mind of the perpetrator Anders Breivik, and exposing the hidden hatreds that inspired him.
