After a short split prologue showing riches as the root of evil in ancient and modern times, the film settles into 1914 France, where the Orient Express is about to be wrecked when a bridge washes out. Among those on board are Al and Travis, Americans who are traveling Europe spending Travis' money, and Marie, a German girl. The boys save Marie after the wreck and Travis falls ...。組に反旗を翻した若いチンピラと、彼と逃亡を共にするペルー育ちの日系人との交流を描くロードムーヴィー。『復讐の天使／KAMIKAZE TAXI』のタイトルでＯＶ作品として既に発売されていながら、スクリーン上映を望む多くのリクエストに応え、劇場公開となった。監督・脚本は「ペインテッド・デザート」の原田眞人。撮影は「家なき子(1994)」の阪本善尚が担当している。主演は「極東黒社会」の役所広司と、「平成無責任一家　東京デラックス」の高橋和也。ミッキー・カーチスが本作でキネマ旬報助演男優賞を受賞している。東京国際ファンタスティック映画祭'94正式出品作品。95年度キネマ旬報ベストテン第8位。。
