该剧根据DC旗下Vertigo出的同名漫画改篇，13集的第二季讲述传教士Jesse Custer（Dominic Cooper饰）在知道上帝失踪了后，联同那神经病女友Tulip（Ruth Negga饰）及爱尔兰吸血鬼Cassidy（Joseph Gilgun）出发去找那家伙回来。不过主角们将不会一路顺风，因为从地狱而来的杀人犯将会追杀他们。。30年前，一个篮球队中的五个队员兼好朋友拿到了篮球赛的冠军。30年后的一天，他们当时的教练过世，这五个当年的好朋友重新聚到了一起，在国家独立日的假日里和自己的家人坐到了一起，共叙友情。他们在一栋别墅里消遣、玩乐——当然也闹出了不少笑话。。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared.
